Former Africa Champion, Omotayo Olajide said his appearance at the ITTF Belgium Open is to gather more experience.

Omotayo who plays for ASD Marcozzi in Italy told aclsports.com that the just concluded ITTF Polish open played a key role in his career.

“Few days ago, I played for my clubside ASD Marcozzi and this is making my confidence grow by the day”.

“I have two more professional tours to attend this year and my prayer is to be there”, the former cadet champion said.

“I’m going to Belgium to gain experience and secondly I’m targeting to qualify from the group stage. In 2013/2014 when I got to Europe, I played for STT Lugano of Switzerland in the Swedish Division One, where we came second”.

The Belgium Open comes up October 31st to November 4th 2017.
