Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Onyinye Ndidi was among seventeen Super Eagles players that trained in Uyo, Southern Nigeria on Wednesday morning.

The 21-year old participated in the team’s ball joggling and warm up exercises but was separated from the group before the core training session began.

He was then seen jogging on his own before he was put through some work by fitness trainer Bernard Gines. His session with the fitness trainer lasted till the time of filing this report.

Ndidi was injured in Leicester’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace on April 28 and missed the Foxes’ last three games of the season due to the injury.

It is highly unlikely that the former Under-17 and Under-20 star will play a part in Nigeria’s friendly against Congo Democratic Republic in Monday in Port Harcourt but he is expected to have fully recuperated before the prestige friendly against England on June 2.
