The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed a new date for Enyimba’s return leg clash with Libyan side Al Ittihad, https://aclsports.com reports.

The first leg was postponed initially by CAF https://aclsports.com/caf-postpone-al-ittihad-v-enyimba-game and has now been rescheduled to hold in Benghazi, Libya on the weekend of 17-19 December 2021.

This was contained in a statement sent to both clubs after the Organizing Committee of Interclubs competitions had consulted the CAF Legal Division. Ittihad had their request to have the game counted in their favour denied, while the request to have the game played in Libya as against Tunisia was granted.

In addition, the football governing body has also asked the Liyan side to fix the exact date, kick-off time and duly inform all parties before 10th December.
