Another Super Eagles young goalkeeper is on the move after Francis Uzoho sealed a permanent transfer to Apoel Nicosia.

Uzoho has put pen to paper on a three-year contract that will see him stay at the Cypriot giants until the summer of 2023.

This much www.aclsports.com can report following details made available on the official website of Nicosia, who confirmed on Friday they had reached an agreement with Spanish outfit, Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña.

“APOEL Football announces the conclusion of an agreement with Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña for the acquisition of (Francis Odinaka) Uzoho, ” the statement read in parts.

“We welcome Francis to APOEL and wish him to celebrate titles and European successes with the blue and yellow jersey, ” the club added.

Uzoho, who has recovered from a long-term injury suffered while on international duty with Nigeria in October 2019, puts an end to his loan spells with this move.

He had been on loan at Elche, Anathorsis Famagusta and Omonia from his Spanish side, Deportivo La Coruna where he failed to establish himself as a first team regular.

Uzoho, 22, becomes the latest Super Eagles goalkeeper to sort out his future ahead of the 2020/21 season just days after his compatriot, Maduka Okoye, 20, joined Eredivisie side, Rotherham on an initial two-year deal with an option for a further two years.
