Matchday 11 of the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership saw Ahudiayannem Queens climb out of the relegation zone in Group B, Rivers Angels claim the top spot in Group A, and Edo Queens move into second, with late wins and draws providing plenty of drama across the league, www.aclsports.com reports.
Ahudiayannem Queens recorded consecutive victories for the first time, making it two wins from two matches under Coach Adanna Nwaneri, as they defeated Osun Babes 3–0 in Aba. Grace Aaron opened the scoring in the fourth minute and doubled her tally in the 80th, while Nwabueze Charles netted in the 23rd to secure a vital home triumph. The victory moved Ahudiayannem out of the relegation zone into seventh place, while Osun Babes dropped to the bottom of Group B.
Nasarawa Amazons edged Dannaz Ladies 1–0 at Lafia City Stadium thanks to a stoppage-time strike from Deborah Onyekachi. The narrow victory moved the Amazons further up the standings, while Dannaz dropped two places to ninth in Group B.
In Iyamho, Confluence Queens drew 1–1 with Robo Queens. Oluwakemi Adegbuyi put Robo ahead in the 28th minute, but Vicental Ezeani converted a penalty before half-time to earn Confluence a point, lifting them to eighth in the group. Sunshine Queens and Delta Queens played out a goalless draw in Akure, while Abia Angels and Remo Stars Ladies also shared spoils with a 0–0 draw in Aba.
Rivers Angels claimed the top spot in Group A with a 2–0 win over Naija Ratels at Bwari Stadium. Abasiofon Uwah and Grace Saliu scored within the first 20 minutes to secure all three points, moving Rivers to the top of the table, while Bayelsa Queens slipped from first to third.
Edo Queens climbed into second place after a 1–0 win over Heartland Queens at Dan Anyiam Stadium, courtesy of Kafayat Mafisere’s 73rd-minute strike.
Adamawa Queens defeated Ekiti Queens 2–1 in Makwada. Ifeoma Damien and Favour Godwin scored for the hosts before Winifred Eyebhoria pulled one back for Ekiti in the 85th minute.
Pacesetter Queens earned a 1–1 draw with Ibom Angels at Lekan Salami Stadium. Olufunke Taiwo’s own goal had given Ibom an early lead, but Olaronke Ola equalised in stoppage time to secure a point, lifting Ibom Angels to sixth in Group A.
With seven matchdays remaining, several teams have improved their positions while others have slipped, keeping both the relegation battle and the Super Six race intensely competitive in the NWFL Premiership.
