Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation, appoints EEXSport as Exclusive Worldwide Marketing, Sponsorship, Communications, Media and Digital Agency.

In line with its strategic mandate to strengthen governance, visibility, and the sustainable development of baseball and softball in Nigeria, the Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation (NBSF) has announced the appointment of EEXSport as its Exclusive Worldwide Marketing, Sponsorship, Communications, Media and Digital Agency.

The partnership aligns with national sports development objectives and the Olympic Movement’s emphasis on institutional capacity building, commercial sustainability, athlete-centred growth, and global engagement.

It represents a key pillar of the Federation’s broader reform agenda aimed at enhancing professionalism, transparency, and international competitiveness.

Under the agreement, EEXSport will support the Federation in the design and execution of integrated marketing, sponsorship, communications, media, and digital strategies. These initiatives will focus on strengthening the Federation’s brand architecture, improving stakeholder engagement, attracting strategic partners, and expanding the visibility of Nigeria’s baseball and softball programmes across continental and global platforms.

Speaking on the appointment, Uche Odozor, President of the Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation, underscored the institutional significance of the partnership.

“This appointment reflects our commitment to building a modern, well-governed Federation aligned with global best practices and the values of the Olympic Movement. Sustainable growth in sport requires strong institutional structures beyond the field of play. Through this partnership with EEXSport, we are taking deliberate steps to enhance our commercial capacity, strengthen our communications, and create an enabling environment for athletes, officials, and development partners.”

He added that the collaboration would also support the Federation’s engagement with government institutions, the Nigeria Olympic Committee, continental and international federations, as well as private-sector stakeholders.

Commenting on the partnership, Emeka Enyadike, Chief Executive Officer of EEXSport, highlighted the developmental and innovation-focused objectives of the engagement.

“We are honoured to partner with the Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation at this important stage of its growth. Our approach is firmly rooted in the principles of the Olympic Movement, sustainability, good governance, and long-term value creation. We look forward to working closely with the Federation to build strong commercial frameworks, elevate its national and international profile, and support programmes that ultimately benefit athletes and the wider sports ecosystem.”

He further noted that the partnership would place strong emphasis on innovation and grassroots expansion.

“There will be a major focus on the advancement of Baseball5 and e-sport variants, alongside the development of strategic partnerships to support infrastructure upgrades, grassroots participation, school-based programmes, coach education, and baseball management training. These initiatives are critical to creating a broad, inclusive, and future-ready ecosystem for the sport in Nigeria.”

The partnership is expected to enhance the Federation’s capacity to deliver structured competitions, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and position baseball and softball as effective tools for youth development, social inclusion, and international representation.
