Ajuozie said, “I am very happy to win the first gold medal for my state. When I was about to fight with my opponent from Lagos, their supporters were intimidating us with their instrument but I remained focus when I heard the voice of my coach, I was motivated to beat him”.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank my coach and parent for supporting me when i made the decision to fight Judo. I promise to make them proud in the future” Ajuozie said.
