The University of Pittsburgh women’s soccer program, has announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Adoo Philomina Yina from NWFL side Nasarawa Amazons, www.aclsports.com reports.

Born on December 30, 2004, Yina arrives with an impressive resume, having represented Nigeria at both the U-17 and U-20 levels. She was a key figure in both teams, showcasing her talent on the international stage and cementing her reputation as one of Nigeria’s brightest young football prospects.

Yina also earned a silver medal in football at the 2023 African Games and was named Player of the Match in Nigeria’s group-stage clash against Korea Republic at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

She made her senior debut for the Super Falcons in a friendly match against France in 2024, marking a significant milestone in her growing career.
