Nigerian 100m specialist, Rosemary Chukwuma, delivered a standout performance at the Star Athletics Sprint Series Meet in Florida, clocking a season’s best of 11.03 seconds (+0.8m/s) to win her heat in the Women’s 100m, www.aclsports.com reports.

The time marks a significant improvement from her previous season’s best of 11.27s, recorded in April, and meets the qualification standard for the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo.With this result, Chukwuma joins Favour Ofili and Tima Godbless at the global event as the Nigerian female sprinters to have qualified.
