Day 2 matches at the COPA Lagos Beach Soccer saw a lot of exciting action from the teams but it was the Pepsi Academy boys who provided spectators with the upset of the day.

In what happened to be a cagey match, Pepsi Football Academy defeated Arsenal 3-2 at the end of three periods and Olalekan who scored a brace (the equalising and winning goal) was the star of the match.

In subsequent matches, Kebbi BSC recorded a 9-4 win over debutants, Gidi Sharks after their loss to Arsenal BSC in the opening match of the tournament.

Spain then became the first team to win both of their games at the COPA Lagos 2017 defeating Morocco 8-5, in what happened to be Morocco’s second loss of the tournament.

Nigeria followed suit with an impressive 9-8 win over Lebanon to also record their second win of the tournament and set up a worthy finale between themselves and the Spanish team.
